Patrick MacQueen

Patrick is a tried-and- true real estate attorney with expertise handling a broad range of real estate transactional, land use, and real estate litigation matters. Patrick began his legal career at one of the Southwest’s largest law firms and was an in-house attorney at one of North America’s largest land-developers and is able to assist the Firm’s clients in both Arizona and Michigan.

With respect to the transactional side of his practice, Patrick regularly represents individuals, small businesses, and developers in all types of real estate transactions and zoning matters, including the acquisition, development, leasing, and operation of multi-family residential complexes, custom-homes, office buildings, senior housing projects, and retail centers. He was involved in one of the largest casino refinancing projects in the Southwest valued at over $3 billion. Patrick also handles an array of golf course sales, membership, and management issues, and has assisted a number of celebrities and professional athletes with their real estate issues.

Regarding the litigation side of his practice, Patrick handles real estate non-disclosure matters, commission disputes, quiet title, adverse possession, and breach of contract claims, and advises individuals, real estate licensees, brokers, brokerages, property managers, and investors involved in real estate disputes. Patrick has successfully handled numerous jury trials and appellate matters.

Benjamin Gottlieb

Benjamin is a co-founder and shareholder at MacQueen & Gottlieb, PLC, and practices in the areas of real estate litigation, real estate transactions, and commercial and civil litigation. Benjamin has gained experience working at both large and small boutique firms in Phoenix, Arizona, where he honed his skills as a trial lawyer.  His experience and skill-sets has enabled him to achieve success in helping clients prevail in all facets of litigation in both state and federal court, including successful outcomes from jury and bench trials. Benjamin has also been successful on behalf of his clients in handling civil appeals. He also believes firmly in continuing legal education, and has taught at and attended many real estate seminars throughout his career.

Benjamin grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University’s business program, with high honors, earning a degree in finance.  He then attended the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, where he excelled academically and served as the Managing Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal.
